Exterior Features
The 2012 Ford Focus is a compact 4-door sedan and 5-door hatchback. Fifteen-inch steel wheels are standard.

Interior Features
With seating for up to 5 passengers,the Ford Focus is offered in four different trim levels. Base Focus models feature air conditioning,keyless entry,cloth upholstery,power locks,front power windows,height-adjustable driver's seat,tilt-and-telescope steering wheel,4-speaker audio system,and more. Upgrading to a higher trim level adds power operation to all windows,steering-wheel-mounted audio controls,cruise control,alloy wheels,keyless entry/ignition,Ford's MyFord Touch technology (bundled with an 8-inch center touch screen),and other premium features.

Optional Features
Major option packages on the 2012 Ford Focus include a satellite-based navigation system,parking sensors,parking camera,leather upholstery,sunroof,and premium audio. Also,a Titanium Handling package adds 18-inch wheels,summer tires,full-size spare tire,and sport-tuned suspension.

Under the Hood
Ford Focus models are fitted with just one engine. The standard powerplant is a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder rated at 160 horsepower. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard,with a 6-speed,dual-clutch automatic optional. All 2012 Ford Focus models are front-wheel drive.

    wha?

    i just read that ford got on the list of most dependable cars on msn and volkswagon got on the list of not dependable according to JDP lists. yet my 2011 VW golf got a better rated score than this 2012 ford focus. ive seen lots of you tube complaints about the 2012 focus but none about a volkswagon. is someone getting pressure from somewhere about the fact that vw had the most sales last year? my 2011 golf is a tank and i love it. ive driven the focus and there is no comparison. please.

    My 2012 Ford Focus SEL has a My Ford Touch screen that fractured when pushed. The Dealer says it is not a warranty item despite the fact that defective items are warrantied. Has this been a problem for any other owner?
