The Volvo S60 enters a new generation with its 2011 model. The S60 is a sporty,performance-oriented midsize sedan with a turbocharged engine and a long list of standard or optional luxury and high-tech features. The new S60 is slightly bigger than the previous generation,and promises enhanced safety and versatility,Volvo says.
The 2011 Volvo S60 comes in a single trim,with various packaged and stand-alone options. (A lesser-equipped trim will be available later in the model year.) Standard equipment includes 17-inch alloy wheels,sport suspension,leather upholstery,a full menu of power accessories (including an 8-way power driver?s seat),dual-zone automatic climate control,Bluetooth connectivity,8-speaker sound system,and much more. The Premium option package includes a sunroof,adaptive xenon headlights,and a power passenger seat. Other option packages add adaptive cruise control,state-of-the-art safety features,navigation system,premium sound system,and other upgrades. Stand-alone options include different suspension systems,keyless entry and ignition,rear-seat entertainment system,and more. Trunk capacity is 12 cubic feet,according to Volvo,and the rear seats and front passenger seat fold down for more cargo space.
