The Sequoia is Toyota?s largest SUV. It shares an engine with the Toyota Land Cruiser,and a platform with the Tundra full-size pickup. The Land Cruiser seats 8,or 7 in the Platinum trim. The 2011 model adds a few new colors.
The 2011 Toyota Sequoia is available in three trim levels,all offering rear-wheel drive (2WD) or optional 4-wheel drive (4WD). Standard equipment on the base-level Sequoia SR5 trim includes 18-inch alloy wheels,sunroof,tri-zone automatic climate control,power driver?s seat,roof rack,and an 8-speaker sound system that teams up with Bluetooth streaming audio. The Sequoia Limited trim steps up to 20-inch wheels,leather upholstery,and a 14-speaker sound system,and adds running boards. The top-line Sequoia Platinum trim addresses performance by adding rear air springs and adaptive shock absorbers,as well as a navigation system,upgraded seat,more powerized accessories,and a rear entertainment system. Some of its enhancements are available as options on the Limited trim. Maximum cargo space is 121 cubic feet. Properly equipped,the Sequoia can tow up to 9100 pounds,according to the manufacturer.
