The Nissan Quest is a family-style minivan. It took a year off in 2010,and is back with an extensive redesign for 2011,including a slightly more conservative profile compared to the previous generation. This new model represents the start of the Quest?s fourth generation. It shares a platform with the Japanese-market Nissan Elgrand,and its engine with several other Nissan models.

The 2011 Nissan Quest is available in four trim levels. The base trim features 16-inch steel wheels,some power accessories,manual air conditioning,cruise control,keyless entry,and a 4-speaker sound system. The Quest SV trim steps up to tri-zone automatic climate control,Bluetooth connectivity,6-speaker sound system,alloy wheels,fog lights,and other bonuses. The Quest SL trim provides 18-inch wheels and leather upholstery as standard,and adds a power liftgate,roof rails,heated front seats,and more power features to the accessories. Even more power features are added to the top-drawer Quest LE trim,along with xenon headlights,rear-seat entertainment system,navigation system,and a 13-speaker Bose sound system. On the top two trim levels,a two-panel sunroof is optional. Maximum cargo space is 108.4 cubic feet,according to Nissan.

The standard power plant in the new 2011 Nissan Quest is a 260-horsepower,3.5-liter V-6 engine,which works with front-wheel drive and a continuously variable transmission. This combination delivers 19 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway,according to the EPA.

Standard safety features on the 2011 Nissan Quest include anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist,stability control,traction control,active head restraints,front side air bags,and side curtain air bags. A rearview camera is standard on the upper trims,and a blind-spot warning system is standard on the LE trim. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety gave the Quest highest-possible ?Good? ratings across the board in front-,side-,and rear-impact crash tests.

Starting MSRP for the 2011 Nissan Quest is $27,750; fully loaded,it can exceed $40,000.
