The Nissan Armada is a truck-based full-size SUV,the flagship of the Nissan fleet as befits its name. It boasts power,spaciousness,and high towing capacity,and can accommodate up to 8 people in three rows of seating. It?s available in rear- or 4-wheel drive (2WD or 4WD). The 2011 model carries over from the previous year,although the trims have been re-named.
The entry-level 2011 Nissan Armada SV trim features 18-inch wheels,dual-zone automatic climate control,a full range of power accessories including driver?s seat,8-speaker sound system,and side-step rails. A tow package is optional. One step up is the Armada SL edition,which adds the tow package,keyless entry and ignition,fog lights,leather upholstery,Bluetooth connectivity,11-speaker Bose sound system,and auto-leveling rear air suspension. The top-of-the-line Armada Platinum adds 20-inch chrome wheels,power liftgate,sunroof,hard-drive-based navigation system,rear-seat entertainment system,premium Bose sound system,and much more. Second-row captain?s chairs are available as an alternative to bench seating with the Platinum trim,and power-folding third-row seats are available. Properly equipped,the Armada can tow up to 9100 pounds,according to the manufacturer.
