The Chrysler 300 is a fullsize sedan that has been on sale since 2005. The 300 is built on a platform that was the basis for a previous-generation Mercedes-Benz E-Class. While it still rides on that platform,the entire vehicle has been significantly updated for the 2011 model year.

The 300 is sold in three different trim levels: Base,Limited,and C. The standard model,known as the 300,is configured with cloth upholstery,air conditioning with dual-zone climate control,auto-dimming mirror,trip computer,17-inch alloy wheels,and more. The Limited is upgraded with heated front seats,power passenger seat,Bluetooth phone connectivity,an Alpine audio system,18-inch alloy wheels,and additional equipment. Leather upholstery is optional on the Limited model. The C trim level arrives with an eight-cylinder engine,larger brakes,a navigation system,and other luxury items.

The Chrysler 300 is offered with two engine choices. The standard powerplant is a 3.6-liter six-cylinder engine that is rated at 292 horsepower and is compatible with E85 fuel. The optional engine,which is only offered on C trim levels,is a 5.7-liter,eight-cylinder engine that generates 363 horsepower. A five-speed automatic transmission is standard with both engines. While the six-cylinder is only offered in rear-wheel drive configuration,the eight-cylinder engine is available with rear- or all-wheel drive. The EPA rates the fuel economy of the 2011 Chrysler 300 between 16 mpg city and 27 mpg highway,depending on powertrain. When running on E85 fuel,mileage will be lower.

The 2011 Chrysler 300 starts with a base price of about $27,500 and tops out with the 300C,which starts around $38,500.
