2011 Audi TTS Coupe

The 2011 version of the Audi TT boasts considerable improvement in power: Torque is increased by almost 25% over the 2010 model. Fuel efficiency is also slightly improved, and leather upholstery is now standard. Available as a 4-seat hatchback coup? or a 2-seat roadster, the Audi TT is the automaker?s entry-level sports car. Audi has also spun off the TTS as a more powerful,performance-tuned version of the TT. For 2011,the TTS?s exterior has been given a sportier look. Several bright two-tone color schemes are available. Both models feature a Bauhaus-inspired fastback design.

Standard features on the 2011 Audi TT include 19-inch alloy wheels with summer performance tires, adaptive Xenon headlights, fog lights, automatic climate control,a full range of power accessories,9-speaker sound system, and a power-operated soft top for the roadster. A rear spoiler deploys automatically at 75 mph, according to the automaker. Several option packages are available on the TT. Adaptive suspension dampers are available as a stand-alone option. A notable standard feature on the TTS is the adjustable drive settings, which allow the driver to tweak the suspension, steering, and even the exhaust note at the touch of a button.

The 2011 Audi TT?s standard power plant is a 211-horsepower,turbocharged,2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 258 lb.-ft. of torque and delivers 22 mpg in the city and 31 mpg on the highway, according to the EPA. All-wheel drive (AWD) and a 6-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission are standard. The TTS features Quattro AWD and a turbocharged,265-horsepower,2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 258 lb.-ft. of torque and delivers 21 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway.

Standard safety features on the 2011 Audi TT and TTS include anti-lock disc brakes, traction and stability control, side air bags, and front knee air bags, plus roll hoops for the roadster. Parking sensors are available as part of the Prestige option package.
