2011 Audi R8 Coupe
A mid-engine luxury sports coup?,the Audi R8 was designed by the manufacturer?s high-performance subsidiary,and is based on the Lamborghini Gallardo platform. The 2-seat supercar is known for its signature side blades,and is available as a hardtop or a convertible,the latter known as the Audi R8 Spyder.
The 2011 Audi R8?s two trim levels are based on its engines. The base R8 4.2 model features 19-inch wheels,Xenon headlights,carbon fiber trim inside and out,leather and Alcantara upholstery,power-adjustable sport seats,sport suspension,adaptive suspension dampers,7-speaker sound system,and Bluetooth connectivity. The convertible version features a power soft top and a retractable window. The R8 5.2 trim,in addition to its more powerful engine,has slightly different accents and finishes,as well as a suspension more in keeping with its powertrain. Some of its upgrades are available as options with the 4.2 trim,and various cosmetic choices are available with both trims. The R8 features some cargo space behind the two seats,and a front trunk of 3.5 cubic feet,according to Audi.

EPA fuel-economy estimates for the 4.2 Quattro R8 are 12 mpg in the city and 19 mpg on the highway with the manual transmission. The 5.2 Quattro with the manual transmission offers 12 mpg in the city,20 mpg highway,and 15 mpg combined.
