Introduced as an all-new model for 2010,the Acura ZDX is a 5-passenger luxury crossover SUV built on the same platform as the Acura MDX. Acura calls the ZDX a ???passionate getaway?? car,which suggests a sporty owner demographic not unlike that of the BMW X6 and perhaps the Honda Crosstour. The 2011 ZDX is unchanged from its previous year.

The 2011 Acura ZDX??s single trim level features 19-inch wheels,an all-leather interior,panoramic sunroof,automatic Xenon headlights,dual-zone automatic climate control,trip computer,Bluetooth connectivity,full power accessories (including power-adjustable front seats),and an 8-speaker audio system. The Technology package upgrades the communications and sound systems,and adds perforated premium leather seats and a navigation system. The Advance package includes all the features in the Technology package plus a sportier suspension and steering wheel,adaptive cruise control,heated and ventilated front seats,and more safety features. The ZDX offers 26 cubic feet of cargo space behind the rear seats,Acura says. With those seats folded down,cargo capacity is 56 cubic feet.

The 2011 Acura ZDX??s standard power plant is a 300-horsepower,3.7-liter V-6 engine with 6-speed automatic transmission (with paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel for manual control) and all-wheel drive. EPA-estimated fuel economy is 16 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. Properly equipped,the ZDX can tow a maximum of 1500 pounds,according to the automaker.

Standard safety features on the 2011 Acura ZDX include anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist,stability control,traction control,front side air bags,side curtain air bags,rearview camera,and active front head restraints. Safety features included in the Advance option package are a blind-spot monitoring system and an automated braking system that applies emergency brake-force if impact is imminent. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) gave the 2011 ZDX the highest-possible ???Good?? rating for front-impact protection,and an ???Acceptable?? rating for rear-impact protection.

Starting MSRP for the 2011 Acura ZDX was $46,020.
