An all-new model for 2010,the Porsche Panamera is a high-performance full-size luxury sedan. It seats four,employs a hatchback instead of a traditional trunk,and is available in rear- or all-wheel drive (RWD or AWD). The Panamera features a highly adjustable suspension,and its long menu of packaged and stand-alone options permit an exceptional degree of customization.
The 2010 Porsche Panamera is available in three trim levels. The entry-level Panamera S features 18-inch wheels,sunroof,adaptive bi-Xenon headlights,dual-zone automatic climate control,adaptive suspension dampers,leather upholstery,hard-drive-based navigation system,11-speaker sound system,and a full range of power accessories?including the rear hatch and 8-way power front seats. The rear bucket seats fold down for extra cargo space. The Panamera S is RWD; the 4S trim features AWD. The top-level Panamera Turbo features 19-inch wheels,state-of-the-art adaptive air suspension,upgraded seats and steering column,14-speaker Bose surround-sound system,and many other enhancements. Options include 20-inch wheels,the Porsche Dynamic Chassis Control technology,ceramic composite brakes,variable-assist power steering,several different seat and upholstery treatments,rear-seat entertainment system,16-speaker Burmeister surround-sound system,and much more. The Panamera?s hatchback trunk provides 15.7 cubic feet of cargo space,which can be expanded to 44.6 cubic feet with the rear seats folded,according to Porsche.
The power plant in the 2010 Porsche Panamera S and 4S models is a 400-horsepower,4.8-liter V-8 engine with the automaker?s proprietary double-clutch 7-speed automated manual transmission. It delivers 16 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway,according to the EPA. The Panamera Turbo features a twin-turbocharged version of the same engine,which delivers 500 horsepower and 516 lb.-ft. of torque.
Standard safety features on the 2010 Porsche Panamera include anti-lock brakes,traction control,stability control,seat belt pre-tensioners,rear parking sensors (and front sensors with the Turbo trim),front and rear side air bags,side curtain air bags,and front knee air bags,plus an optional rearview camera.
Starting MSRPs for the 2010 Porsche Panamera ranged from $89,800 for the Panamera S to $132,600 for the Panamera Turbo.
