The Nissan 370Z made its debut in the 2009 model year as a hardtop. A power-operated soft-top version has been introduced for 2010,replacing last year?s 350Z. Depending on trim level and options,the 370Z can play the role of a rather conservative sports car,or a hard-core performer.

The hard-top version of the 2010 Nissan 370Z is available in three trims. The base trim features 18-inch alloy wheels,cruise control,automatic climate control,keyless entry and ignition,Xenon headlights,heated side mirrors and auto-dimming rearview mirror,and a 4-speaker sound system. The 370Z Touring trim adds power and heat to the seats,and upgrades the sound system and the upholstery. The 370Z Nismo trim includes those features and upgrades to 19-inch wheels,a more powerful engine and brakes,adds a limited-slip rear differential,stiffer suspension,higher-performance tires,and exclusive interior and exterior detailing. The convertible version of the 370Z is offered only in the Touring and Nismo trims. Several option packages are available on the 370Z,including a 40th Anniversary package that features distinctive trim and colors.

The standard power plant in the 2010 Nissan 370Z is a 332-horsepower,3.7-liter V-6 engine with a 6-speed manual transmission and rear-wheel drive. A 7-speed automatic transmission with steering-column-mounted shift paddles is optional. The Sport package of options adds SynchroRev Match technology,which Nissan says makes for smoother shifting. On the 370Z Nismo trim,the engine has been tuned to produce 350 horsepower. An automatic transmission is not available on the Nismo version. With either transmission,the 2010 Nissan 370Z hardtop delivers 18 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway,according to the EPA; the convertible models deliver 18/25.

Standard safety features on the 2010 Nissan 370Z include anti-lock brakes,traction control,stability control,active front head restraints,front side air bags,and side curtain air bags.

Starting MSRPs for the 2010 Nissan 370Z ranged from $30,410 to $40,870.
