2010 LINCOLN Town Car Sedan
Arguably the best-known American luxury sedan,the Lincoln Town Car is recognized for its spacious interior,traditional design,and identifiable profile. It features body-on-frame construction,and versions are available for both the general public and for livery drivers. The Town Car is a rear-wheel-drive 6-seater that competes with the Chrysler 300,Lexus ES 350,and other luxury models. The 2010 Lincoln Town Car carries over from the previous model year.
Two trim levels are available on the 2010 Lincoln Town Car: Signature Limited and Signature L. The base Signature Limited model features 17-inch alloy wheels,front and rear bench seating,power accessories (including the trunk and front-seat adjustments),heated front seats,dual-zone automatic climate control,sound system,and steering-wheel-mounted climate and sound controls. The L (for ?Long?) trim features a 6-inch-longer wheelbase and adds heated rear seats,climate and sound controls,and vanity mirrors in the rear,and other interior touches. A Continental Edition option package is available,and it includes chrome B-pillars,exclusive badging,and chrome wheels. Whitewall tires and Xenon headlights are offered as stand-alone options. The large trunk provides 21 cubic feet of cargo space,according to Lincoln.
The 2010 Lincoln Town Car?s standard power plant is a 239-horsepower,4.6-liter V-8 engine,coupled with a 4-speed automatic transmission. According to the EPA,it delivers 16 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway.
Standard safety features on the 2010 Lincoln Town Car include 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes,traction control,front side air bags,and rear parking sensors. In government crash tests,the NHTSA gives the 2010 Lincoln Town Car five stars (out of five) for driver and front passenger front-impact protection; the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) awarded it a ?Good? rating in its frontal-offset crash tests.
