2010 Audi TT Coupe
Available as a 4-seat hatchback coup? or a 2-seat roadster,the Audi TT is the automaker?s entry-level sports car. It?s marketed as an all-weather,everyday vehicle with luxury features and a distinctive Bauhaus-inspired design with a fastback roof line. Often mentioned as competitors are the BMW 1 Series,BMW 3 Series,and Infiniti G37.
The 2010 Audi TT is not much changed from the 2009 model,but the optional 3.2-liter V-6 engine has been discontinued. For 2010,only the 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine will be offered in the U.S. Front-wheel drive has also been eliminated,and all 2010 TTs will have Quattro all-wheel drive.
New standard features on the 2010 Audi TT include a power soft top on the roadster,and Bluetooth and HomeLink connectivity. The single trim level includes 18-inch alloy wheels,an automatic retractable spoiler that deploys at 75 mph,fog lights,summer performance tires,heated mirrors and washer nozzles,tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel,leather seats (with optional baseball-glove-style stitching),power accessories,remote keyless entry,and a 9-speaker audio system. The Premium Plus and Prestige trim levels feature upgraded lighting,stereo,and navigation systems. An ?S line? sport package includes 19-inch wheels,S line bumpers,sport seats and steering wheel,and upgraded upholstery. Magnetic suspension is available for a firmer ride. The TT coup? offers a total of 23 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded,according to Audi.
The 2010 Audi TT has a turbocharged,200-horsepower,2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that makes 207 lb.-ft. of torque. Only the 6-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission is available. Estimated gas mileage is 21 mpg in the city and 29 mpg on the highway,according to the EPA.
Standard safety features on the 2010 Audi TT include anti-lock disc brakes,traction and stability control,side air bags,and front knee air bags.
When introduced,the 2010 Audi TT started at $37,800.
