For 2010,new interior and exterior styling are the main changes to the Audi Q7?a full-size luxury crossover SUV that?s available in gasoline- or diesel-powered configurations. New on the inside are an instrument cluster with larger displays,chrome accents,door-mounted ambient lighting,and a redesigned passenger-side dash area. Changes to the exterior include redesigned bumpers,fender flares,and side sills,a single-frame grille with vertical chrome accents,and LED taillights. An optional styling package adds various color accents and additional chrome.

This seven-seater is offered in three trim levels,based on engine type. The 3.6 Premium has a 3.6-liter gas-powered V6 engine. The TDI Premium has a diesel-powered V6 engine. The 4.2 Prestige trim has a 4.2-liter V8 engine. Standard features on the 3.6 Premium include 18-inch wheels,rear parking sensors,leather upholstery,power seats and liftgate,Multi Media Interface,and premium audio system. The Premium Plus package adds xenon headlights,front parking sensors,a rearview camera,navigation system,and upgraded audio system. The Prestige package adds 20-inch wheels,keyless entry and ignition,and a blind-spot warning system. The 4.2 Prestige trim level includes all the features of the Prestige Package plus upgraded trim,power-adjustable steering column,and upgraded climate control.

The gas-powered V6 engine produces 280 hp and 266 lb.-ft. of torque. The 3.0-liter diesel-powered V6 makes 225 hp and 406 lb.-ft. of torque. The V8 engine produces 350 hp and 325 lb.-ft. of torque. EPA estimates for the gas-powered V6 are 14 mpg in the city,20 mpg highway,and 16 mpg combined. The diesel engine delivers 17 mpg in the city,25 mpg highway,and 20 mpg combined,while the V8 engine delivers 13 mpg in the city,18 mpg highway,and 15 mpg combined.

All Audi Q7s feature Quattro permanent all-wheel drive and a six-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control. In NHTSA testing,the Q7 received five stars in front- and side-impact tests.

Base price for the 2010 Audi Q7 was around $46,900.
