With the 2009 Audi TT,the automaker promises a mixture of high technology and dynamic handling. The luxury two-door,now in its second generation,is available as a coup? or roadster,in three trim levels,and comes with a four-cylinder or V6 engine. The high-performance version of the TT is called the TTS,which features Audi?s signature trapezoidal grille with distinctive headlights and lower grille styling. It has front bucket seats,and the coup? has a small rear seat,which can be lowered to provide a total of 24.7 cu. ft. of cargo space.

The 2008 TT received a major redesign,so little changed for the 2009 model. The Premium (base) trim level includes 17-in. alloy wheels,an automatic retractable spoiler that deploys at 75 mph,heated mirrors and washer nozzles,adjustable steering wheel,leather seats,power accessories,and a nine-speaker audio system. The Premium Plus and Prestige trim levels feature upgraded lighting,stereo,and navigation systems. An S line sport package includes larger wheels and tires and sportier exterior detailing.

The TTS,in addition to its more powerful engine,adds several luxury upgrades,including Nappa leather and Alcantara trim,a detailed instrument panel,and a multi-function steering wheel.

The TT offers a choice of a turbocharged,2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (200 hp and 207 lb.-ft. of torque) or a 3.2-liter V6 (250 hp and 236 lb.-ft. of torque). The 2.0 offers a six-speed,dual-clutch automatic transmission as standard,while a manual is standard on the 3.2,with a six-speed dual-clutch automatic as an option.

The TTS has a 265-hp,turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (258 lb.-ft. of torque). Only the six-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission is available on the TTS,which also features a magnetic adaptive suspension. The TTS features bi-xenon headlamps with LED daytime running lights.

When introduced,the 2009 Audi TT started at $38,125.
