There once was a time in America when larger coupes sold in droves. Names like Grand Prix,Cutlass,Cordoba and Thunderbird were all attached to long,two-door sedans that dotted driveways all across America. Today, people want easily accessible vehicles, with loads of interior room for cargo and crew. Hence, the number of affordable coupes has dropped to a mere trickle. Still,Toyota's Solara is the one car that remains popular with its handsome two-door aggressive exterior styling,a huge rear seat and a reputation for outstanding durability, comfort and economy. The few products still left in this dwindling category include the Honda Accord,Pontiac G6 and Ford Mustang.
