When Honda decided to enter the midsize sport-utility vehicle market,it did so with its usual level of product excellence. The Honda Pilot certainly doesn't offer the size or towing capability of a Ford Expedition or Chevrolet Suburban,but if you have the need to seat eight passengers,prefer a sophisticated four-wheel drive system and still want to be able to fit into most parking spaces without calling for outside assistance,the Pilot will perform admirably. Because the Pilot is based on the same platform that spawned the Acura MDX,owners will get a good dose of Acura refinement at a Honda price.
