The TL is Acura's mid-level premium luxury sedan. Acura has given the TL a powerful V6 engine,a dynamic suspension and a host of technological features Acura owners have come to expect. The TL's styling is bolder than previous models,with strong lines,a distinctive front end and a brilliantly designed interior. Though it clearly has the power to run with the segment leaders,when pushed hard the TL's front-wheel drive layout is prone to torque steer and understeer,which is why many competitive cars are rear- or all-wheel drive. For some,these attributes place the TL behind the BMW 3-Series,Infiniti G35 and Audi A4 Quattro in the fun-to-drive category. But as most consumers will never push their cars to such limits,we think the TL's combination of luxury,price and strong resale places it high in its class.
