Digital gauges and a 3.5-inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT) multi-function display screen with hybrid drivetrain and trip computer functions are standard on this model, as well as a tilt/telescoping steering wheel with satellite controls for the stereo and multi-function display. The standard stereo includes a CD player, USB port with iPod connectivity, auxiliary audio input jack, and Bluetooth hands-free calling with music streaming capability.

Optional Features
Toyota does not offer options for the Prius c One, though Toyota dealers can accessorize the car with extra-cost items. To get factory-installed upgrades, buyers must choose the Prius c Two, Prius c Three, or Prius c Four.

The Prius c Two adds cruise control, variable intermittent front wipers, 2 additional stereo speakers for a total of 6, height-adjustable driver's seat, two-tone fabric seat upholstery, center console with an armrest and storage, 60/40-split design for the folding rear seat, SofTex leatherette dashboard trim, cargo area light, and a cargo cover.

Combined, the powertrain produces 99 horsepower.

The Prius c is a "full" hybrid, which means that it can operate on electricity alone at lower vehicle speeds. Toyota provides the Prius c with EV, Eco, and Normal driving modes.
