Power Circle Ratings

Overall Dependability 5.0

Ratings data for all body styles and trim levels within a particular model family are aggregated when calculating the model's overall Power Circle Rating.

Overview

Unlike the truck-based Toyota 4Runner, the gasoline- and hybrid-powered Highlander models offer a car-like ride with front- or all-wheel-drive drivetrains. This makes sense, as the midsize crossover SUV shares platforms with the Toyota Camry sedan and Toyota Sienna minivan. Last redesigned for 2008, the Highlander is essentially a carryover for the 2010 model year.

  • Removal of the rear "Toyota" badges on all models
  • Removal of the "V6" badge on 6-cylinder models
  • New optional moonroof (4-cylinder models)
  • New optional back-up camera (base 6-cylinder models)
