Exterior Features
Subaru drops the Impreza Outback Sport this year, replacing it with the XV Crosstrek, a 5-passenger, compact crossover SUV. Based on the Impreza 5-door hatchback, the XV Crosstrek has modified styling, a taller stance and 8.7 inches of ground clearance.

Subaru offers the XV Crosstrek in 2.0i Premium and 2.0i Limited trim levels, both riding on 17-inch alloy wheels and featuring heated side mirrors, wiper de-icer grid, and dark-tinted rear privacy glass. An outside temperature display also indicates when conditions are favorable for road surface freezing.

With the rear seats in use, the Crosstrek offers 22.3 cubic feet of cargo space; with the rear seats folded down, 51.9 cubic feet of space is available.

Interior Features
Standard equipment for the 2.0i Premium includes air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, remote keyless entry, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and heated front seats with driver's seat height adjustment. The audio system includes Bluetooth connectivity and audio streaming along with an auxiliary audio input jack and a USB/iPod port.
The Limited trim level adds a standard continuously variable transmission (CVT), leather seats, automatic climate control, automatic headlights, reversing camera, and an upgraded audio system with HD Radio and iTunes tagging capability.

Optional Features
The 2013 Subaru XV Crosstrek can be upgraded with a power sunroof and a voice-controlled, touch-screen navigation system. The navigation system includes satellite radio, real-time traffic information, and speech-to-text messaging capability. The 2.0i Premium trim can also be outfitted with a reversing camera.

Under the Hood
The XV Crosstrek has a 148-horsepower, 2.0-liter, horizontally opposed 4-cylinder engine with a 5-speed manual transmission or a CVT with paddle shifters, and all-wheel drive is standard.
