Exterior FeaturesThe 2013 Subaru Impreza is offered as a compact 4-door sedan or 5-door hatchback capable of carrying 5 passengers. The Impreza Sedan and 5-Door are offered in 2.0i, 2.0i Premium and 2.0i Limited trim levels, and the Impreza 5-door is further available as the 2.0i Sport Premium and 2.0i Sport Limited.
Standard equipment for the 2.0i models includes 15-inch steel wheels with plastic wheel covers, power exterior mirrors, and, on the 5-door model, a rear spoiler and rear window wiper.
Interior FeaturesInside, the 2013 Subaru Impreza 2.0i is equipped with air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, remote keyless entry, trip computer, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and a height-adjustable driver seat. Bluetooth connectivity is standard, and the stereo is equipped with an auxiliary audio input jack and an iPod connection. The 2.0i 5-door models add tie-down hooks and grocery-bag hooks in the cargo area.
The Impreza 5-door offers 22.5 cubic feet of space with the rear seats raised and 52.4 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down. The Impreza Sedan's trunk provides 12 cubic feet of space.
Optional FeaturesThe only factory option available for the Impreza 2.0i is a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Subaru dealers, however, can install any of a number of extra-cost accessories.
The 2.0i Premium models add 16-inch aluminum wheels, body-color side mirrors, sliding center-console armrest, cruise control, and, for 5-door models, a cargo cover. Versions with a manual transmission also get a standard All-Weather package including heated front seats, heated exterior mirrors, and a windshield wiper de-icer.
If you opt for the CVT, you'll pay extra for that All-Weather package. An Alloy Wheel package adds 17-inch aluminum wheels, leather-wrapped steering wheel, and a leather-wrapped shifter to the Impreza 2.0i Premium models, while the optional voice-activated navigation system includes a 6.1-inch touch-screen display, rearview camera, satellite radio, HD Radio, Bluetooth streaming audio, and text-messaging capability.
The 2.0i Sport Premium 5-door is equipped with 2.0i Premium trim plus 17-inch aluminum wheels with a gray finish, fog lights, unique fabric upholstery, black roof rails, and body-colored rocker panel trim. The only option is a CVT.
The 2.0i Limited comes standard with the CVT and a set of paddle shifters that provide manual control over transmission ratios. An upgraded audio system with a 4.3-inch display screen and iTunes tagging capability is also included on Limited models, along with automatic climate control, leather upholstery, heated front seats, heated exterior mirrors, windshield wiper de-icer, automatic headlights, and fog lights. A power sunroof and a navigation system are optional.
The 2.0i Sport Limited replaces the chrome grille with a silver one, but otherwise the standard equipment and options lay out the same as the Limited.
Under the HoodA 148-horsepower, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine is standard on all Impreza models, and is paired with all-wheel drive. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard on 2.0i, 2.0i Premium and 2.0i Sport Premium models. A CVT is optional on those versions of the car and is standard on the 2.0i Limited and 2.0i Sport Limited.
