Exterior Features
The 2013 Scion xB is a 5-passenger, 5-door hatchback offered in a single level of specification. Standard equipment includes a choice of three wheel cover designs for the 16-inch steel wheels, dark-tinted privacy glass for the rear windows and tailgate, power exterior mirrors with integrated turn signal indicators, intermittent front wipers, rear-window wiper, chrome-tipped exhaust outlet, and front LED accent lighting.

Interior Features
The 2013 Scion xB is equipped with standard air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, remote keyless entry, cruise control, tilt/telescoping steering wheel, and a multi-information display. Sport-bolstered front seats and a height-adjustable driver seat are included in the base price, along with a center console with a sliding armrest and a reclining rear seat offering 60/40-split folding capability. The standard audio system offers 6speakers, USB port with iPod connectivity, and an auxiliary audio input jack. The xB is also equipped with a storage compartment under the cargo floor and a storage tray under the rear seat.

Optional Features
Scion dealers install accessories for the xB. Highlights include fog lights, rear spoiler, rear bumper protector, mudguards, and aluminum wheels in 17-inch, 18-inch, and 19-inch designs. Inside, the xB can be upgraded with several cargo storage solutions, cargo and floor mats, auto-dimming rearview mirror, sport steering wheel, rear-seat entertainment system, and a BeSpoke premium audio system with satellite radio. A security system and remote engine starting are also available.

Buyers can also choose from a variety of Toyota Racing Development performance upgrades. The catalog includes lowering springs, performance shocks, rear sway bar, strut tower brace, high-performance brakes, performance clutch, quick-shifter kit, limited-slip differential, performance air intake kit, sport muffler, and more.

Under the Hood
The 2013 Scion xB is equipped with a standard 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine generating 158 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 162 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,000 rpm. A 5-speed manual gearbox is standard, with a 4-speed automatic transmission optional. Every Scion xB comes with 2 years or 25,000 miles of free scheduled maintenance as standard equipment.
