Under the Hood

All gas-powered Panameras include a 7-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission. Some versions offer all-wheel drive. Lower trim levels are powered by a 3.6-liter V-6 engine rated at 300 horsepower. Higher trims are fitted with a 4.8-liter V-8 rated at 400 horsepower, or up to 550 horsepower with turbocharging. The S Hybrid is powered by a 3.0-liter V-6 engine paired with a 35-kilowatt electric motor and an 8-speed automatic transmission with manual shift control.
