Exterior Features
The 2013 Nissan Rogue is offered in S and SV trim levels, with Special Edition, Premium Edition, and SL upgrade packages. All have power outside mirrors and a body-color spoiler over the rear window. The base Rogue S rides on 16-inch steel wheels with plastic wheel covers.

Interior Features
Standard equipment for the 2013 Rogue includes air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, remote keyless entry, cruise control, trip computer with an outside temperature display, height-adjustable driver's seat, and a 4-speaker stereo with a CD player and an auxiliary audio input jack.

Optional Features
The Rogue S is available with a Special Edition package that adds Bluetooth connectivity, aluminum wheels, fog lights, dark-tinted rear glass, upgraded stereo with satellite radio, USB port, and a 4.3-inch color in-dash display screen equipped with a reversing camera.

These features are standard on the Rogue SV, which also includes larger alloy wheels, roof rails, upgraded exterior trim, Nissan Intelligent Key entry and push-button start, power driver's seat, fold-flat front passenger's seat, and premium cloth upholstery.

The SV trim can be upgraded with a Premium Edition package including navigation, premium Bose audio system, automatic climate control, power sunroof, automatic headlights, and fog lights. These items are included in the SL package, which also adds unique 18-inch wheels, leather, heated front seats, heated side mirrors, xenon HID headlights, and an AroundView 360-degree monitoring system.

Under the Hood
Every 2013 Nissan Rogue is equipped with a 170-horsepower, 2.5-liter 4-cylinder engine. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) delivers power to the front wheels (FWD). All-wheel drive (AWD) is optional.

Fuel Economy
EPA fuel-economy estimates for the 2013 Nissan Rogue are:

  • Rogue FWD: 23/28/25 mpg (city/highway/combined)
  • Rogue AWD: 22/27/24 mpg

Safety
Nissan equips the 2013 Rogue with 6 air bags, 4-wheel vented-disc anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution and brake assist, and a traction and stability control system. All versions except the base Rogue S include a reversing camera, and the Rogue SV with the SL package comes with a 360-degree AroundView monitoring system.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) gives the 2013 Rogue a 4-star overall crash-test rating (out of 5 stars), but it should be noted that front passenger protection in a frontal-impact collision is rated 3 stars. The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has not rated the 2013 Rogue as this overview is written.
