What's New for 2012:
- Platinum Edition package of options available for top trim level
- Other slight changes in option packages
The 2012 Nissan Murano is a 4-door crossover SUV that seats 5 passengers. It shares a platform with the Nissan Maxima, Altima, and Quest. The Murano is available in four trim levels--S, SV, SL, and LE--and in a convertible model, the CrossCabriolet. The base trim employs 18-inch alloy wheels, with higher trims offering up to 20-inch wheels. A Sapphire Black exterior is available for the LE.
The Murano S trim features cloth upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, some power accessories, and a 6-speaker sound system. The SV adds a panoramic sunroof, automatic headlights, roof rails, power front seats, Bluetooth capability, rearview camera, and leather-wrapped steering wheel. The SL includes leather upholstery (with heated front seats and steering wheel), power liftgate, upgraded Bose sound system, and other enhancements. The LE adds bi-Xenon headlights, heated rear seats, and wood interior trim.
The CrossCabriolet is available in a single trim that is basically an enhanced version of the LE, with tufted leather upholstery and a palette of non-traditional colors.
The Platinum Edition of the LE includes the Sapphire Black paint and a navigation system, the latter of which is optional on the SL and LE. A rear entertainment system is available on the upper trims, and some of the upper-trim upgrades are optional on lower trims. The CrossCabriolet is eligible for premium leather upholstery.
