The 2012 Nissan Juke is a sub-compact SUV, with seating for 5 passengers. The Juke has 4 side doors and a hatchback and is equipped with front-wheel or optional all-wheel drive (FWD or AWD). A sport-tuned suspension comes standard on the Juke.
The entry-level "S" trim of the 2012 Nissan Juke features 17-inch alloy wheels, cruise control, air conditioning, keyless entry, power accessories, Bluetooth connectivity, and a 6-speaker sound system. The mid-level SV trim adds keyless ignition, sunroof, automatic climate control, and (bundled with the optional continuously variable transmission) a system that allows the driver to adjust the steering, transmission, and throttle settings. The top-of-the-line SL trim upgrades to leather upholstery (including heated front seats), automatic headlights and footlights, premium sound system, and a navigation system. Storage space is 36 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down, and 10 cubic feet with the seats up.
The Nissan Juke SV trim offers an optional navigation system. Other options include the Sport package, which features a spoiler, upgraded wheels, and stainless steel exhaust outlet. Other packages upgrade the exterior and interior.
Under the Hood
The 2012 Nissan Juke is fitted with a 1.6-liter, turbocharged, inline 4-cylinder engine rated at 188 horsepower and 177 lb.-ft. of torque, with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable transmission (CVT), which functions as an automatic. The CVT comes standard on the Juke's all-wheel-drive version.
EPA fuel-economy figures for the 2012 Nissan Juke are:
