Exterior Features
The 2012 Nissan 370Z is offered in a 2-seat coupe and soft-top convertible body style in three and two trim levels, respectively. Standard equipment includes 18-inch alloy wheels, automatic bi-Xenon headlights, and heated outside mirrors. The suspension in the Z is tuned for a sports-car feel.

Interior Features
Standard features on the Nissan 370Z include keyless ignition and entry, cruise control, 8-way driver seat, and tilt-adjustable leather-wrapped steering wheel. The convertible adds a power-operated soft top.

Optional Features
The 2012 Nissan 370Z offers several optional amenities, including heated 4-way power seats with 4-way driver lumbar adjustment, auto-dimming rearview mirror, rear cargo cover, Bluetooth connectivity, 8-speaker Bose sound system, satellite radio, 19-inch forged aluminum wheels, and high-performance tires. The Sport package for the medium trim level includes front and rear spoilers. A package for the convertible includes heated and ventilated power seats.

Under the Hood
The Nissan 370Z is powered by a 3.7-liter V-6 engine rated at 332 horsepower and mated to a standard 6-speed manual transmission. The highest trim level is fitted with a specially tuned version of that same engine, but rated at 350 horsepower. A 6-speed manual and a 7-speed automatic transmission are available.

EPA fuel-economy figures for the 2012 Nissan 370Z are:
- 370Z Coupe with manual transmission: 18/26/21 mpg (city/highway/combined)
- 370Z Coupe with automatic transmission: 19/26/22 mpg
- 370Z Convertible with manual transmission: 18/25/20 mpg
- 370Z Convertible with automatic transmission: 18/25/21 mpg

Safety
Standard safety equipment on the Nissan 370Z includes traction and stability control and a battery of air bags.

To date, neither the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) nor the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) have tested the 2012 Nissan 370Z.
