The Galant SE trim features 18-inch alloy wheels, premium cloth upholstery, automatic climate control, heated front seats, more power controls, navigation system, 9-speaker sound system, and Bluetooth connectivity. Options include leather upholstery packaged with a rear spoiler, plus enhancements that can be installed at port, such as remote ignition and an iPod interface. The trunk offers 13.3 cubic feet of cargo space, according to Mitsubishi.

The power plant in the 2011 Mitsubishi Galant is a 160-horsepower, 2.4-liter 4-cylinder engine that produces 157 lb.-ft. of torque. It works with a 4-speed automatic transmission and delivers 21 mpg in the city and 30 mpg on the highway, according to the EPA.

Standard safety features on the 2011 Mitsubishi Galant include 4-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with electronic brake-force distribution, stability control, traction control, front side air bags, and overhead curtain air bags. A rearview camera is optional with the Galant SE trim.
