The Lincoln MKZ is an entry-level, midsize luxury sedan--an upscale version of the Ford Fusion, with which it shares a platform. The model is available with a conventional V-6 engine or a hybrid power plant. Both feature 17-inch wheels, keyless entry, rear parking sensors, and fog lights.
The standard interior of the 2012 Lincoln MKZ features leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, power accessories--including heated and ventilated 8-way power front seats--and a 9-speaker sound system. With the V-6 engine, trunk space is 16.9 cubic feet; with the hybrid power plant, trunk capacity is 11.8 cubic feet.
The MKZ's Sport Appearance package includes 18-inch polished alloy wheels, sport-tuned suspension, darker exterior trim, and interior touches that include contrasting seat piping. The Executive package upgrades the leather upholstery even further and adds real wood to the interior trim. In addition to a navigation system, the Navigation package includes a rearview camera, blind-spot warning system, and, on the hybrid trim, a surround-sound system. The Ultimate package includes the Navigation package features plus chrome wheels, sunroof, adaptive Xenon headlights, and more. Some of the package features are available as stand-alone options.
