The 2012 Lincoln MKT is a large 4-door luxury crossover SUV offered in two trim levels: base and EcoBoost. Nineteen-inch wheels are standard, but may be upgraded to 20-inch wheels on the EcoBoost trim.
The 2012 Lincoln MKT offers three rows of seating and is available in either 6- or 7-passenger configurations. With all rows in use, the MKT provides 17.9 cubic feet of cargo space, and expands to 75.9 cubic feet with the second and third rows folded down. The MKT comes standard with leather upholstery, heated power front seats, heated second-row seats, and tri-zone automatic climate control. A 10-speaker sound system with CD player, satellite radio, and the voice-controlled Sync system are also standard.
Lincoln offers one package option group for the 2012 MKT, which is available only on the EcoBoost trim. The Elite package includes a voice-activated navigation system, premium surround-sound audio system, panoramic roof, and Lincoln's blind-spot information system. Although there are few stand-alone options for the base MKT, the EcoBoost trim may add an automatic parallel-parking system, rear-seat entertainment system, heated second-row captain's chairs, and a rear-seat console with refrigerator.
