The 2013 Lexus LS flagship luxury sedan receives a substantial makeover, although not a complete redesign. The 2013 LS lineup includes three models: LS 460, LS 460 L, and LS 600h L hybrid. The LS 460 L is an extended-wheelbase version with 5 extra inches of length, and the LS 600h L is a hybrid version of the extended-length model. The 2013 Lexus LS can be optioned with an F Sport package that contains cosmetic and mechanical upgrades designed to turn the LS into a sport sedan. Additionally, the LS can be outfitted with a new four-zone Lexus Climate Concierge system, Mark Levinson Reference Surround Audio system, and premium semi-aniline leather. A 4.6-liter V-8 engine generating 386 horsepower is standard for all LS 460 models. In models with all-wheel drive (AWD), the V-8 generates 360 horsepower. The LS 600h L has a hybrid powertrain pairing a 5.0-liter V-8 engine with two electric motors and Lithium-ion batteries. Together, the components produce 438 horsepower, and the LS 600h L can accelerate to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds, according to Lexus. All 2013 LS models have an 8-speed automatic transmission.Fuel Economy
