Exterior Features

Standard equipment for the Evoque Pure includes LED running lights and taillights, power-folding and heated side mirrors, front and rear park-assist sensors, rain-sensing wipers, headlight washers, and 19-inch aluminum wheels.

Interior Features
The Range Rover Evoque coupe offers up to 47.6 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats folded, while the Evoque 5-door can handle up to 51 cubic feet of cargo.

In Pure trim, the Range Rover Evoque is equipped with standard brushed aluminum cabin trim, ambient lighting, leather seats with Dinamica suede inserts, and heated front seats with power adjustment. A push-button ignition system is also standard, along with dual-zone automatic climate control, universal garage door opener, 380-watt Meridian sound system with an in-dash touch screen and iPod/USB connectivity, reversing camera, and Bluetooth hands-free calling and music streaming.

Optional Features
The Range Rover Evoque Pure Plus trim is equipped with a panoramic glass roof, while the Pure Premium version has adaptive bi-xenon headlights with automatic high-beam assist, surround-view camera system, keyless passive entry, and an 825-watt premium surround-sound audio system with 17 speakers. A Climate Comfort package adds a heated windshield, heated steering wheel, and heated windshield washer jets. Additional options include a navigation system, rear-seat entertainment system, park-assist system, HD Radio, satellite radio, and 20-inch wheels. Several extra-cost paint colors and treatments are also available.

The Range Rover Evoque Dynamic is the sport-themed model, equipped with unique exterior design details, special 19-inch aluminum wheels, contrast roof and spoiler colors, textured aluminum cabin trim, and sport-bolstered front seats wrapped in perforated leather with contrast-color inserts. Standard features include Pure Premium equipment plus fog lights, power tailgate, and a navigation system. The Climate Comfort package is optional, as well as a rear-seat entertainment system, satellite radio, HD Radio, and 20-inch wheels. An Adaptive Dynamics continuously adjustable suspension is exclusively available on this version.

The Prestige trim level, offered only for the Evoque 5-door, includes the same equipment as the Dynamic model but is equipped with real wood trim, metallic cabin accents, two-tone leather-wrapped interior, and multi-spoke 19-inch aluminum wheels. The options menu mirrors the Dynamic model, except for the Adaptive Dynamics suspension.

Under the Hood
The Land Rover Range Rover Evoque is equipped with a turbocharged, direct-injection, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine that creates 240 horsepower. A 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters directs power to all four of the Evoque's wheels through a permanent all-wheel-drive (AWD) system. Just like in a Jaguar XF, a rotary knob that rises from the console is used for gear selection.

Land Rover's Terrain Response system comes standard on the Range Rover Evoque, allowing the driver to tailor the powertrain and AWD system for driving on grass, snow, sand, mud, ruts, or gravel. When the Evoque is equipped with the optional Active Dynamics suspension, a Dynamic driving mode is also available through Terrain Response.

Hill-start assist and hill-descent control are included on every Evoque, as well as a gradient release control feature for exceptionally steep descents, which gives this Land Rover more capability than a typical crossover SUV. The Evoque also provides 8.4 inches of ground clearance at the front axle, 19.7-inch water fording depth, and a 22-degree breakover angle, helping the Evoque to tackle whatever terrain most of its owners are likely to attempt.

Fuel Economy
As this overview is written, the EPA has not finalized fuel-economy estimates for the 2013 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque.

The 2013 Range Rover Evoque is equipped with 6 air bags, traction control, stability control, hill-start assist, hill-descent control, gradient release control, roll stability control, and trailer stability assist. The 4-wheel-disc anti-lock braking system includes brake assist, cornering brake control, and emergency brake lights that glow brighter the harder you step on the brake pedal. Rain-sensing wipers, a reversing camera, and park-assist sensors embedded into the front and rear bumpers are also standard.

As this overview is written, neither the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) nor the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has performed crash tests on the 2013 Range Rover Evoque.
