Exterior Features
The 2012 Lincoln Navigator is a full-size, luxury 4-door SUV available in regular- and long-wheelbase (L) models. The Navigator comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels.

Interior Features
The 2012 Lincoln Navigator seats 8 passengers and provides 18.1 cubic feet of cargo space with the third-row seats in use and 103.3 cubic feet with the second- and third-row seats folded down. The longer Navigator L model has 42.6 cubic feet of cargo space with all seats in place. Both Navigator models feature a number of luxury appointments, including a wood-lined interior, leather-upholstered and heated power seats, Bluetooth connectivity, 14-speaker audio system, and voice-activated multimedia system.

Optional Features
Options available for the Lincoln Navigator include a Heavy Duty Trailer Tow package; Monochrome Appearance package that tones down the Navigator's chromed look; and a Monochrome Limited Edition package that adds unique leather upholstery and ash wood trim. Stand-alone options include 20-inch polished wheels and a rear-seat DVD entertainment system with dual headrest-mounted monitors.

Under the Hood
The 2012 Lincoln Navigator is fitted with a 5.4-liter V-8 engine rated at 310 horsepower, and comes standard with rear-wheel drive (2WD) and a 6-speed automatic transmission. The Navigator is also available with all-wheel drive (AWD).

Fuel Economy
EPA fuel-economy figures for the 2012 Lincoln Navigator are:
- Navigator with 2WD: 14/20/16 mpg (city/highway/combined)
- Navigator with AWD: 13/18/15 mpg

Safety
Standard safety features on the Lincoln Navigator include trailer-sway control technology, 3-row side curtain air bags, post-crash alert system, and front and rear parking sensors.

To date, neither the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) nor the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) have tested the 2012 Lincoln Navigator.
