Additionally, the Cadenza is equipped with leather seats, a 10-way power driver's seat, heated front seats, and a dual-zone automatic climate control system. Rear park-assist sensors and a Smart Key passive entry system with push-button starting are also standard features, as well as an auto-dimming rearview mirror, universal garage door opener, and a steering wheel wrapped in leather and wood.Options and Packages
To upgrade the Cadenza, buyers can choose up to three stair-step option packages and a handful of dealer-installed accessories.
The Luxury package adds premium Nappa leather upholstery, heated and ventilated driver's seat with a power-extending thigh support, heated outboard rear seats, heated power tilt-and-telescoping steering wheel, and memory for the driver's preferences. Additionally, the Luxury package contains high-intensity discharge headlights with an adaptive front-lighting system, panoramic sunroof, power sunshades for the sunroof and rear window, and an upgraded 7-inch Thin Film Transistor (TFT) gauge display.
Once the Luxury package is selected, buyers can choose the Technology package, which adds an Advanced Smart Cruise Control system, blind-spot monitoring system, lane-departure warning system, and an electronic parking brake. A set of 19-inch aluminum wheels is included in this package, as well as hydrophobic front door window glass, which repels water for improved visibility.
Cadenzas equipped with both of these packages can be upgraded to the self-explanatory White Interior package, which is offered at no extra charge and includes white leather, woodgrain interior accents, and artificial suede trim for the headliner, visor mirrors, and roof pillars. Additionally, dealers offer wheel locks, a cargo net, cargo tray, and a protective strip for the rear bumper.Under the Hood

As this model overview is written, neither the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) nor the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has performed crash tests for the 2014 Cadenza.
The Cadenza's standard safety equipment includes rain-sensing wipers, rear park-assist sensors, and a reversing camera system, while options include adaptive headlights, radar cruise control, blind-spot monitoring system, and a lane-departure warning system.
The Cadenza is also equipped with Kia's UVO eServices technology. Via a paired smartphone, eServices provides Cadenza owners with Crash Notification Assist service, which notifies authorities when the car is involved in a collision and can send rescuers to the Cadenza's exact location. Additionally, this technology provides access to vehicle diagnostic checks and service appointment requests, one-touch roadside assistance, vehicle location reminders, advance route planning via Google Point of Interest, and includes a Digital Jukebox function. Owners can also set speed, curfew, and geographic boundary alerts to monitor the activities of those who borrow the car.
