The 2012 Jeep Wrangler is a convertible SUV. It is sold in 2-door (Wrangler) and 4-door (Wrangler Unlimited) body styles, and is offered in three different trim levels. Sixteen-inch steel wheels are standard, with larger alloy wheels available.

Interior Features
The 2012 Jeep Wrangler offers seating for 5 passengers. Base Wrangler features include crank windows, front and rear tow hooks, manual door locks, manual mirrors, cruise control, and a tilt steering wheel. Upgraded trim levels are fitted with air conditioning, front and rear locking differentials, leather upholstery, disconnecting sway bar, satellite radio, and other premium equipment.

Optional Features

Safety

In tests conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), the Wrangler received a "Good" rating-the Institute's highest-for frontal-offset crash protection. For side-impact crash protection, the Wrangler received a "Poor" rating-the Institute's lowest. Roof strength was not tested.
