Exterior Features
The 2012 Jaguar XF is a midsize luxury 4-door sport sedan offered in four trim levels. Eighteen-inch wheels are standard, with 19-inch and 20-inch wheels available.
Interior Features
The 2012 Jaguar XF seats 5 passengers and provides 17.7 cubic feet of trunk space. The base model XF features cruise control, automatic climate control, heated power front seats with leather upholstery, and Bluetooth connectivity. Other standard equipment includes a touch-screen electronics interface, voice-controlled navigation system, and premium sound system. Higher trim levels add such features as a leather-wrapped dashboard, upgraded wood trim accents, upgraded sound system, and power seats.
Optional Features
Various option packages are available with different trim levels. On the base Jaguar XF trim, the Cold Weather package includes a heated windshield; the Premium Package 1 features a rearview camera; and the Premium Package 2 adds a blind-spot monitor. For the XF Portfolio trim, the Sport package adds 19-inch wheels, distinctive exterior styling, and, for most models, a 1200-watt sound system. Adaptive cruise control is available for all except the base trim.
Under the Hood
The 2012 Jaguar XF base and XF Portfolio trims are fitted with a 5.0-liter V-8 engine rated at 385 horsepower. The XF Supercharged trim is fitted with a supercharged version of the base engine and is rated at 470 horsepower. The top-of-the-line XFR has a supercharged, 5.0-liter V-8 engine rated at 510 horsepower. Rear-wheel drive and a 6-speed automatic transmission are standard on all Jaguar XF models.

Safety
Standard safety features on the 2012 Jaguar XF include front-seat side air bags, side curtain air bags, and anti-lock brakes.
Neither the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) nor the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) have conducted crash tests on the 2012 Jaguar XF.
