Exterior FeaturesThe Infiniti G lineup includes a sedan, coupe, and a convertible. Trim levels vary by body style, and all-wheel drive (AWD) is available for the G Sedan and G coupe, denoted by an "x" on the trunk lid. Infiniti Performance Line (IPL) versions of the G coupe and G Convertible carry "IPL" badges and special design modifications to set them apart from other models. Convertibles have a power-retractable hardtop that stows in the trunk. All variants are equipped with aluminum wheels and xenon HID headlights.
Interior FeaturesThe Infiniti G is equipped with leather, power front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, Infiniti Intelligent Key with push-button ignition, Bluetooth, and more.
Optional FeaturesHighlights from the options list include a Bose Studio on Wheels premium audio system, hard-drive navigation system with voice-recognition technology, power sunroof, and a Technology package loaded with safety features. A Sport package adds more aggressive tires, sport suspension, sport-tuned steering, sport brakes, magnesium paddle shifters (with automatic transmission), power front sport seats, revised styling, and unique 18-inch aluminum wheels.
Under the HoodWith the cancellation of the G25 Sedan, every 2013 Infiniti G is equipped with a 3.7-liter V-6 engine paired with a choice between a 6-speed manual gearbox and a 7-speed automatic transmission with adaptive shift control, Drive Sport mode, and Downshift Rev Matching. In G37 models, the V-6 makes 325-330 horsepower, depending on body style. In IPL trim, the V-6 generates 343-348 horsepower. Infiniti's Intelligent All-Wheel Drive is available on the G37x coupe and G37x Sedan.

Traction and stability control are also standard, along with 4-wheel-disc anti-lock brakes with brake assist and a reversing camera. Rear parking-assist sensors are optional on all G37 models. A Technology package is also available, adding rain-sensing wipers, Pre-Crash Seat Belts, intelligent cruise control, and Preview Braking.
The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has not performed crash tests on the Infiniti G lineup. However, the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) says the G provides "Good" protection in frontal- and side-impact crashes, but rear-impact injury prevention is "Marginal." Roof crush strength is rated as "Acceptable" by the Institute.
