Exterior Features
The 2012 Honda Ridgeline is a unique style of midsize pickup truck offered in a 4-door crew cab body style and in four trim levels. The Ridgeline offers a 5-foot dent-resistant bed with a lockable trunk located underneath that includes drain holes for use as a cooler. Trunk space is 8.5 cubic feet. The spare tire is located underneath the bed floor, which is unique among pickups.
Interior Features
Standard equipment includes a power-sliding rear window, 60/40 split-folding rear seat with storage underneath the seat, full power accessories, cruise control, trip computer, and a 6-speaker audio system with MP3 connection.
Optional Features
The 2012 Honda Ridgeline offers one factory option: a Navigation System package that includes Bluetooth compatibility and a reversing camera. Amenities available moving up the trim levels include 18-inch black alloy wheels, rear privacy glass, fog lights, leather-wrapped steering wheel with audio controls, 8-way power driver seat, sunroof, leather upholstery, ambient console lighting, and heated front seats.
Under the Hood
The Honda Ridgeline is powered by a 3.5-liter V-6 engine rated at 250 horsepower and mated with a 5-speed automatic transmission and all-wheel drive.

EPA fuel-economy figures for the 2012 Honda Ridgeline are 15/21/17 mpg (city/highway/combined).
Safety
Standard safety equipment on the Honda Ridgeline includes stability control, front-seat side air bags, and side curtain air bags with rollover sensors.
In government tests conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA), the Ridgeline received 4 (out of 5) stars for rollover protection. In tests conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), the Ridgeline received "Good" ratings--the Institute's highest--for frontal-offset and side-impact crash protection and roof strength, and was named a "Top Safety Pick" for 2012.
