Exterior Features
The 2012 Ford Focus is a compact 4-door sedan and 5-door hatchback. Fifteen-inch steel wheels are standard.

Interior Features
With seating for up to 5 passengers, the Ford Focus is offered in four different trim levels. Base Focus models feature air conditioning, keyless entry, cloth upholstery, power locks, front power windows, height-adjustable driver's seat, tilt-and-telescope steering wheel, 4-speaker audio system, and more. Upgrading to a higher trim level adds power operation to all windows, steering-wheel-mounted audio controls, cruise control, alloy wheels, keyless entry/ignition, Ford's MyFord Touch technology (bundled with an 8-inch center touch screen), and other premium features.

Optional Features
Major option packages on the 2012 Ford Focus include a satellite-based navigation system, parking sensors, parking camera, leather upholstery, sunroof, and premium audio. Also, a Titanium Handling package adds 18-inch wheels, summer tires, full-size spare tire, and sport-tuned suspension.

Under the Hood
Ford Focus models are fitted with just one engine. The standard powerplant is a 2.0-liter 4-cylinder rated at 160 horsepower. A 5-speed manual transmission is standard, with a 6-speed, dual-clutch automatic optional. All 2012 Ford Focus models are front-wheel drive.
