The Ford F-250 is the entry-level model in Ford's line of Super Duty full-size trucks. The F-250 is geared to commercial use, and employs a heavy-duty, body-on-frame construction that allows for heavier payloads and towing capacities compared to other smaller pickups. F-250s are available with two- or four-wheel drive, in three cab sizes, in four trims, and with a choice of gasoline or diesel power.

The regular cab model has a 96-inch cargo bed, while the SuperCab and crew cab options come with a choice of an 81-inch or 96-inch bed. The SuperCab's rear doors are rear-opening, while the crew cab has conventional doors. The base (XL) trim offers minimal amenities, but conveniences and technological enhancements are progressively added to the XLT trim, the Cabela trim, and the luxury-oriented Lariat trim. The Cabela model is offered only with the crew cab, and its extras are geared mainly to off-road use: skid plates, Rancho shocks, limited-slip rear axle, and manual-shift transfer case. The Lariat focuses on comfort, with leather upholstery, dual-zone automatic climate control, rear-parking sensors, and Sync multimedia voice control system.

A Harley-Davidson package is available with the diesel engine. It includes Harley-namesake trim inside and out, along with 19.5-inch alloy wheels. The options in the King Ranch package give the F-250 a Western theme.

A gas-powered 5.4-liter V8 is the standard engine. It makes 300 hp and 365 lb.-ft of torque. Optional is a 362-hp, 6.8-liter V10 engine. The top-of-the-line engine is a 350-hp, 6.4-liter V8 that uses diesel fuel. Five-speed automatic and six-speed manual transmissions are available. Fitted with the proper power and equipment, the F-250 can tow a maximum of 12,500 lbs. and carry a 3,200-lb. payload.

The 2010 Ford F-250's MSRP ranges from $25,875 to $42,855.
