The Ram Dakota (aka Dodge Dakota) is a midsize pickup truck with a unique size that makes the model rather special-the competition doesn't offer a truck in this segment. Being midsize in stature, it is nearly as capable as a full-size truck, yet more efficient for daily driving. The Dakota shares its platform with the Dodge Durango. Offered in four different trim levels, in 4x2 or 4x4 drive configurations, all Dakota models feature a standard 3.7-liter V-6 engine. This is the final model year for the Dakota, as it will be discontinued next year.
