Exterior FeaturesThe 2012 Chrysler Town & Country is a standard minivan offered in three different trim levels. Sixteen-inch alloy wheels are standard, with larger wheels available on higher grades.
Interior FeaturesThe 2012 Chrysler Town & Country offers seating for up to 7 passengers. Base Town & Country models are configured with leather upholstery, full power accessories, air conditioning, power driver's seat, power-adjustable pedals, and more. Higher trim levels are equipped with rear parking sensors, heated front seats, keyless entry and ignition, Bluetooth, and other premium accessories.
Optional FeaturesMajor options on the 2012 Chrysler Town & Country include power-folding third-row seats, sunroof, and a premium center console.
Under the HoodChrysler Town & Country models are fitted with one standard engine, a 3.6-liter V-6 rated at 283 horsepower. It is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission, sending power to the front wheels. All-wheel drive is not available.

SafetyStandard safety features of note on the 2012 Chrysler Town & Country include side curtain air bags for all three rows and a driver's knee air bag. In government crash tests, the 2012 Chrysler Town & Country received an overall rating of 4 (out of 5) stars, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA). In additional NHTSA tests, the Town & Country scored 4 stars in frontal crash tests, 5 stars in side crash tests, and 4 stars in rollover tests. In tests conducted by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS), the Town & Country received a "Good" rating-the Institute's highest-for frontal-offset and side-impact crashes and a "Good" rating in roof strength tests. The Town & Country was named an IIHS "Top Safety Pick" in 2011.
