introduced the compact PT Cruiser as a 2001 model and has sold more than one million of what it calls a segment-busting design with "one-of-a-kind" exterior styling and "Swiss Army knife-like interior flexibility." It can be said that the PT Cruiser was a crossover utility vehicle before anyone had coined that term. The styling is reminiscent of fat-fendered cars of the late 1930s.
In addition to the standard pillared-roof wagon, a PT Cruiser convertible is available. The wagon offers seating for 5, while the convertible has seating for 4. The convertible has a power folding top, a trunk passthrough, an integrated "sport" bar that bridges the passenger compartment, and a fold-and-tumble rear seat to enhance cargo capacity. The rear seat is split 65/35 in the wagon. It folds and is removable. With the rear seats out, the PT Cruiser wagon has 62.7 cubic feet of cargo room.Model Lineup
