Exterior Features
For the final production year for the current version of the Corvette, Chevrolet celebrates by offering a new 427 Convertible model, the fastest Corvette convertible ever built, according to the automaker. A 60th Anniversary Design package is available on any Corvette model, adding Arctic White paint, ZR1-style spoiler, gray-painted brake calipers, and special badges and graphics. Convertible versions also feature a Blue Diamond top.

Interior Features
Models with the 60th Anniversary Design package also have Blue Diamond extended leather cabin treatment, with suede inserts for the seats. All 2013 Corvettes have 60th Anniversary logos on the gauges, the doorsill plates and, on Corvette Convertible models, the center "waterfall" trim between the seats.

Optional Features
Among the options available for the various Corvette models are a navigation system, Bose audio system, Bluetooth, head-up display, Magnetic Selective Ride Control, and a leather-wrapped interior.

Under the Hood
The standard Corvette model and the Grand Sport versions are equipped with a 6.2-liter V-8 engine generating 430 horsepower and 424 lb.-ft. of torque (436 horsepower and 428 lb.-ft. of torque with the optional dual-mode exhaust system). A 6-speed manual gearbox is standard, but shoppers can select a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters.

The Corvette Z06 coupe and 427 Convertible models are equipped with a hand-built, 7.0-liter V-8 engine delivering 505 horsepower. A 6-speed manual transmission is the only choice with the 7.0-liter engine. The Z06 coupe is equipped with an aluminum frame, and both models utilize carbon fiber elements in their construction. Optional on the Z06 coupe are a Z07 Performance package and a Carbon Fiber package.

Corvette ZR1 models feature a hand-built, supercharged, 6.2-liter V-8 engine delivering 638 horsepower and 604 lb.-ft. of torque to create the fastest car Chevrolet has ever offered, the company says. Top speed is 205 mph, according to Chevrolet. Only a manual transmission is available, and the ZR1 can be optioned with a High Performance package.
