LS models get optional 15-inch aluminum wheels and chrome door handles in 2008, and both Aveo and Aveo5 have a new tire-pressure monitor. The Aveo/Aveo5, built for Chevy by Daewoo in Korea, provides basic transportation with a good list of standard features for an attractive price. Chevy touts the Special Value Aveo5 as the "lowest-priced car in America."

The LS Aveo sedan includes carpeted front/rear mats; AM/FM stereo; a choice of woodgrain or metallic interior accents; air conditioning with air filtration system; tilt steering column; driver armrest; and 14-inch steel wheels with full bolt-on covers. LT models add chrome door locks; stereo with CD/MP3 player and 6-speaker premium sound system; deluxe cloth seats; cruise control; power door locks; remote keyless entry; fog lamps; heated, power, foldaway body-color mirrors; and 15-inch aluminum wheels.
