While it's not "all new," the 2008 Cadillac
STS is updated with some significant design touches and safety additions. Exterior styling is similar to the 2008 CTS, especially in the larger grille and chrome fender vents. The addition of more narrow side marker lamps, lower rocker moldings, chrome-plated door handles, and three-inch aluminum exhaust tips completes the updated look. Inside, the steering wheel is redesigned, and a head-up display is now available on the V-6 model, as are HID headlights. But the big news for 2008 is the new 3.6-liter V-6 engine with increased output of 302 hp and 272 lb.-ft. of torque. Both V-6 and V-8 models will continue to be offered in rear- and all-wheel drive. Standard safety additions include an advanced electronic stability control system; all-speed traction control; lane-departure warning; blind-spot monitoring; and rear parking assist.Model Lineup
