Interior Features
New trim details, colors, and ambient lighting are added to the 2013 Enclave's 3-row, 8-passenger, QuietTuned cabin. Standard features include Buick's IntelliLink color touch-screen radio with Bluetooth hands-free connectivity and music streaming. Redesigned for 2013 are the triple-zone automatic climate controls. Raising the standard power rear liftgate reveals cargo space measuring 23.3 cubic feet behind the third-row seat, with maximum volume measuring 115.2 cubic feet.

Optional Features
Buick sells the 2013 Enclave in Convenience, Leather and Premium trim levels. Available extras include premium Nuance leather, 8-way power front seats, ventilated front seats, power tilt/telescoping steering wheel, power sunroof, Bose premium sound system, and a rear-seat entertainment system. Under the Hood
Every 2013 Enclave comes equipped with a direct-injection, 3.6-liter V-6 engine that generates 288 horsepower and 270 lb.-ft. of torque, is bolted to a 6-speed automatic transmission, and drives either the front only (FWD) or all four wheels (AWD). Towing capacity is 4,500 pounds.

Fuel Economy
The EPA had not rated the 2013 Enclave's fuel economy when this overview was written. Buick estimates the SUV will get 24 mpg on the highway with FWD and 22 mpg on the highway with AWD.

The 2013 Buick Enclave is equipped with 7 standard air bags, including a new industry-first front-seat center air bag that deploys between the front seats to protect occupants from injury in side-impact crashes. Also standard are traction and stability control, 4-wheel-disc anti-lock brakes with panic brake assist, and a reversing camera. Additionally,  the OnStar telematics system provides 6 free months of automatic crash response service. The Enclave can also be equipped with a blind-spot monitoring system, side blind-zone alert and rear cross-traffic alert system.

The new Enclave is structurally identical to the previous model, which was named a "Top Safety Pick" by the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) in 2012 and which received an overall 5-star crash-test rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
