Exterior Features
The 2012 Audi TT is a 2-door luxury sports car available as either a hatchback coupe or roadster (convertible). Each body style is offered in two trim levels, with 18-inch wheels standard.

Interior Features
The 2012 Audi TT Coupe seats 4 passengers, while the TT Roadster accommodates only 2 passengers.  Trunk space in the Coupe is 13.1 cubic feet, and expands to 24.7 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down. The Roadster provides 8.8 cubic feet of trunk space. The base Premium Plus trim line is equipped with power front seats, leather and faux suede upholstery, Bluetooth connectivity, automatic climate control, and a 9-speaker audio system with CD player and satellite radio. Top-of-the-line Prestige trim vehicles come with upgraded leather upholstery, interior ambient lighting package, navigation system, upgraded audio system, and heated seats.

Optional Features
Audio primarily groups options for the 2012 TT into packages, such as the S line package that features upgraded upholstery, unique exterior and interior styling accents, and 19-inch alloy wheels. The Baseball Optic Leather package features nappa leather seating with baseball glove-style stitching, and the MMI Navigation Plus with Audi's Music Interface package that features real-time traffic on a 6.5-inch display and includes an iPod interface. Stand-alone options include a magnetic ride control suspension and heated front seats.

Under the Hood
Both the TT Coupe and TT Roadster are fitted with a turbocharged, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine rated at 211 horsepower. All-wheel drive and a 6-speed, dual-clutch, automated manual transmission are standard on the TT.

Fuel Economy
EPA fuel-economy figures for the 2012 Audi TT are 23/31/26 mpg (city/highway/combined).

Safety
Standard safety features on the 2012 Audi TT include side air bags, front-seat knee air bags, and rain-sensing wipers.

To date, neither the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) nor the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) has conducted crash tests on the 2012 Audi TT.
