The 2013 Audi Q5 is a compact luxury crossover SUV. For 2013, it is sold as a 2.0T model with Premium or Premium Plus trim, new 3.0T model with Premium Plus or Prestige trim, and a new Q5 Hybrid model.
Standard equipment includes automatic headlights, fog lights, LED taillights, power heated side mirrors with LED turn signal indicators, rain-sensing wipers, heated windshield washer nozzles, aluminum roof rails, dark-tinted rear privacy glass, and 18-inch aluminum wheels.Interior Features
Standard equipment for the 2013 Audi Q5 2.0T Premium includes leather seats, aluminum or wood cabin trim, 3-zone climate control, 8-way power front seats, and a 10-speaker audio system with satellite radio. The Q5 carries 29.1 cubic feet of cargo behind its rear seat, or up to 57.3 cubic feet with the rear seat folded down.Optional Features
The Audi Q5 2.0T can be upgraded with a Convenience package (Bluetooth, iPod connection, universal garage door opener) and a Lighting package (xenon headlights and LED running lights). Additionally, heated front seats, panoramic sunroof, and a rear-seat entertainment system are available on the 2.0T Premium.
The Q5 2.0T Premium Plus trim includes all of these features as standard equipment, except for the rear-seat entertainment system. The Premium Plus trim also offers power-folding and auto-dimming side mirrors, power tailgate, aluminum sill trim, memory for the driver seat, and an auto-dimming rearview mirror with a compass.
Options for the 2.0T Premium Plus include a Navigation Plus package (navigation, Audi Connect services with mobile Wi-Fi connectivity and Bluetooth streaming audio, parking sensors, reversing camera, HD Radio) and a Sport Interior package (3-spoke steering wheel, shifter paddles, 12-way power front sport seats). This trim level can also be upgraded with 19-inch aluminum wheels, rear-seat entertainment system, Bang & Olufsen premium audio system, and Audi Advanced Key keyless entry with push-button start.
The Audi Q5 3.0T Premium Plus trim level includes the standard features of the 2.0T Premium Plus, and adds a supercharged V-6 engine with automatic stop/start technology, S-line exterior appearance enhancements, 19-inch wheels, headlight washers, cornering lights, and Audi Advanced Key. Options mirror the 2.0T model, but the 3.0T can also be equipped with an S-line package including 20-inch wheels, auto-damping suspension, Audi Drive Select technology, sport steering wheel, and unique trim.
The Q5 3.0T Prestige provides standard adaptive xenon headlights, LED running lights, rear side window shades, heated and cooled cupholders, Bang & Olufsen sound, and Audi Side Assist blind-spot detection. This trim level also includes the contents of the Navigation Plus package.
Options for the 3.0T Prestige include 20-inch wheels, rear-seat entertainment system, the Sport Interior package, Driver Assist package (Audi Drive Select, adaptive cruise control, dynamic steering), and a Comfort package (premium leather, extended leather, 12-way heated and ventilated front comfort seats).
The new Q5 Hybrid is equipped like the 3.0T Prestige trim, with unique wheel designs and without S-line exterior trim. It can be upgraded with the Sport Interior package or the Comfort package, 20-inch aluminum wheels, and a rear-seat entertainment system.Under the Hood
The Audi Q5 2.0T is equipped with a turbocharged, 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine generating 211 horsepower at 4,300 rpm and 258 lb.-ft. of torque at 1,500 rpm. Audi says this model will accelerate to 60 mph in 7 seconds.
The Audi Q5 3.0T features a supercharged, 3.0-liter V-6 engine generating 272 horsepower at 4,780 rpm and 295 lb.-ft. of torque at 2,150 rpm. The 3.0T accelerates to 60 mph in 6 seconds, according to the automaker.
The new 2013 Q5 Hybrid pairs a turbocharged, 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder gasoline engine with electric assist motors and a Lithium-ion battery pack. Combined, the gas/electric powertrain generates 245 horsepower and 354 lb.-ft. of torque. Audi says the Q5 Hybrid accelerates to 60 mph in 6.8 seconds.
Each 2013 Q5 model is equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission and Quattro all-wheel drive, and each will tow up to 4,400 pounds.Fuel Economy
EPA fuel-economy estimates for the 2013 Audi Q5 are:
